Today, State Senator for Pennsylvania’s 19th District, Carolyn Comitta, reminded us that PA libraries are waiting on much needed funds. The state budget was supposed to be passed on June 30th. And yet, here we are.

The delay in passing the budget has pushed many institutions that relay on these monies into a state of precarious limbo.

While it’s rumored that Lady Raven may be an undead (and, of course, gorgeous) ghoul, libraries are anything but. A library in this day and age is more alive than ever.

Just look at what patrons have been saying about the Downingtown Library:

Patrons can request digital audio books, parents can take their children to activities hosted by the library, and you can even go inside to rest from the heat — for FREE. Imagine that. A space where you can sit for hours, not buy a thing, and have no one look at you twice. That’s rare these days.

Lady Raven Productions exists to fill the gaps in times like these is, so wonderful institutions can focus on what they do best instead of scourging for funds.
